Park Pass and Mobile Sport Fishing Permits Update 12/3
The State Park Service continues to work with our contractor, Tyler Technologies, Inc., to resolve the technical issues experienced during the launch of Island Beach State Park's Mobile Sport Fishing Vehicle Permit sales on Sunday, Dec. 1.
We apologize for the inconvenience and would like to address several questions that have arisen:
✅ If your credit card was charged, your order will be fulfilled.
✅ A confirmation email will be sent within 1–2 days to all customers who successfully purchased a permit.
⚠️ If you were charged for multiple permits unintentionally, please email support@njportal.com. Refunds for duplicate orders will be processed in the coming days.
⚠️ Do not stop payment if you were charged for multiple permits, as this could void your order.
⚠️ The release of additional permits has been postponed until Tyler Technologies, Inc. completes and tests website updates to ensure a smooth and error-free ordering process.
🚫 Mobile Sport Fishing Vehicle Permits are NOT transferrable.
Updates will be posted to both the New Jersey State Parks, Forests & Historic Sites and the Island Beach State Park Facebook pages in advance of when the sale of Island Beach State Park Mobile Sport Fishing Vehicle Permits resume.
Permits for Corsons Inlet State Park and North Brigantine Natural Area remain available for purchase.
